That's a good point, I noticed if you hold down L2 the CPU will control everything your player does. If you're at half court and the man you're suppose to be guarding is in the far corner and you old L2, your man will run cross court to the guy he's suppose to be guarding. L2 is def not a typical 2K player lock feature, more like "there's chaos and I don't know where I'm suppose to be" button.

Re: NCAA Basketball 09 Impressions

I'm pretty sure it does it without holding the trigger. Mainly because I very rarely use M2M and or tight coverage and I'm just floating around with very loose defense. Then when one of my AI controlled teammates "engages" a CPU player and I'm near there, my man automatically rushes in and double teams.
So for me it isn't a trigger issue.

Either way I'll live with it but it does need addressed, IMO, but I'll double check it tonight.

Re: NCAA Basketball 09 Impressions

From what I've seen, zones are very different from man to man - the AI, logic or whatever. When I played Cuse and their 2-3, they would trap the baseline corner alot which is pretty dumb. Same thing happened when I jumped into a 2-3 for a while with UConn.

Could it be the User Sink Or Swim Effectiveness slider?

Yep. Can't count the number of times this has happened and a man was left wide open for an easy pass and uncontested shot. Don't get me wrong I love the fact they will dish it out of a DT and get easy looks... but I don't like it when it's not what I had planned.
