A little confused on the team ratings? If you look at Blue Ribbon the ratings differ quite a bit from the ratings when in the team select screen?

I noticed that too.

Re: NCAA Basketball 09 Impressions

So what do you guys think overall? I keep hearing the dynasty mode is shallow? I'm thinking about picking the game up, but I'm curious about that mode and the gameplay obviously. I played the demo on Xbox, but I just got the 3 rings, I've got it downloading for PS3. I think the gameplay is decent, but some of it felt a little weird to me. Does the final game play great? I guess I'm just used to playing the 2k basketball games and I'm just curious what comparison, if any, there is to CH 2k8 and stuff. I've been reading through this thread and I see a lot of good things about the game.

But like the poster above, I'm curious if recruiting is too easy.

The gameplay is very different from 2K and takes a while get used to but is very good IMO. The features and things of that nature are still very far behind compared to 2K8 so it boils down to what is most important to you and what you can live with and without.

The gameplay is really, really solid thus far. We'll keep our fingers crossed that no big bugs pop up in that department.
My biggest issue (other than no player lock) is the feeling of not really controlling anything on D. I'm soooo sick and tired af my man I'm controlling sliding 5 feet to double team another player that comes in the area.

I'm trying to figure out what is causing that, I've only played with UConn so far so my pressure is always at tight. I wonder if putting it to loose would reduce the double teaming, or if you play at a half-court tempo. But I agree, that does get annoying.

Let go of the L trigger or L2 (if your playing ps3) and your guy wont do that. pull the r stick down if you want to man lock d or whatever its called.
