NCAA Basketball 09 Impressions

Has anyone tried to install the game to the harddrive using the NXE to see if player editing loads faster? Didnt someone say there was some loading times in there...if not, just ignore me.

I picked up the game last night and played one game. I was the Virginia Cavaliers at the Cincinatti Bearcats. I played 10 minutes halves on the veteran level. It was a fun game and I am pleased with the game. I did have to turn up the brightness in the game. At default it was a little to dark for my liking.

Once the PS3 roster project is done I will start a dynasty.

I saw a couple of generic courts as well, I played at UNC-Ashville and at Fairfield last night and both had generic courts.

On 1080p HDTV (40") this game is a thing of beauty. I have not had to touch to brightness at all. The crowd that EA put into the game is tops.

Allow me to clarify. In CH2K8, Villanova's on-campus arena, The Pavilion, was in the game. The court was correct, but the arena itself didn't look much like The Pavilion. Still, Villanova played at an arena called The Pavilion that was a passable representative of our home court.

In NCAA 09, The Pavilion doesn't appear to even be in the game. We have the Wachovia Center as our home court in this game. It looks pretty accurate; however, we play exactly three games at the Wachovia Center this year. What a joke.

I was playing a game of North Dakota State vs South Dakota State(me) and I lost 97-64. They went 15-23 from 3pt range. It was insane. lol
