The graphics in this game are sick, no two ways about it. When they show the pregame huddle where the camera is on the ground looking up at the players it is amazing, as good of graphics as I've seen in a next-gen sports game. The detail on the uniforms is great.

I wish they'd step up their accessories though. No kneepads, arm sleeves, black socks, etc. Those little things really help take the game to another level visually.

Re: Official NCAA Basketball Impressions thread

Just picked up the game an hour ago (I took NBA2K9 back too), but now I am just waiting to rip the rapper off of it. I have played the demo 3 times in a row while watching the UNC vs. UK game, just to make sure I want to open it.

Man, I knew the start of the college hoops season would do this to me.

what camera view is everyone using? I like the overhead with zoom adjusted a few clicks to the right.

I didn't buy the game...my friend did. He's an EA Sports fan.

Again, I wanted to try and like the game so I figured I'd give it a try at his house first.....

Re: Official NCAA Basketball Impressions thread

Are free throws as easy in the retail version as they are in the demo? Can we change the level of difficulty or make it set to "real life FT%s"?

Thanks.

yEAh its obviously fairly barebones but its their first college game with this engine. To me though it looks really smooth and an improvement on live as far as fast breaks and responsiveness it looks like. Which is a good thing. I look at the graphics and they look sick. barebones yeah but the core game is there for sure.
