Can't argue w. that. Sooner or later OS may have to adopt a referral system to register.

Re: NBA 2K9 Screenshots: Player Ratings

How about the discussion of the forums going up or down be done in the neighbohood thread instead of this thread.

I have my own thoughts but i wouldnt mind contributing them to a thread where i wont have to move it or lock it for going too far off topic.

Why do i have to feel that, that is necessary, it is for the forums to stay readable.

I wasn't claiming that Brand should be rated lower, I just think that Bosh, still having a better season than Brand should not have had his rating hastily decreased. They should first of all avoid overrating players, and then if they have a slightly sub-par year they won't decrease ratings unless a steady decline in stats, play time is seen over a few seasons. Also, Brand hasn't been in the league much longer than Bosh. Bosh, since becoming an allstar has consistently put up over 22 pts and about 10 boards per game; I think that is a good track record. Has anyone ever thought that the reason his boards decreased slightly was because he had more help from players like Jamario Moon and Nesterovic. That doesn't mean he is any worse a rebounder for example. I would also think that by now Chris would have enough respect by now to be called a superstar/franchise player.

Using my own team as a means of comparison, if Manu Ginobili is a 91, Chris Bosh should be higher than a 90... similarly, if Tony Parker is an 88, Jose Calderon should be way worse than an 87. That rating is an utter joke.

I think that Tony Parker improved over last season and should be only slightly lower than Deron Williams (94) not 88, I agree with that point. I also think he is better than Ginobili. But I think Calderon deserves that rating, as a starter he averaged like 8 assists and 10 pts per game while having the lowest assist/turnover ratio in the NBA. He also greatly improved his shooting. Since players like Mo Williams and TJ Ford are rated 84, Calderon should be better.
