is there any way to tell what patch ur playing on? I cant seem to remember if i downloaded the 2nd patch

If you are connected to the internet when you pop the game in and the game doesn't prompt you to download the latest patch, it means you have the second patch (I think). If you don't have the second patch the game will automatically prompt you to download it.

Or you can look at your game data section in the PS3 section to see if the patch is there.

Completely agree. I rented the game a month ago and returned it, but after hearing some of the positive impressions about the patch, I grabbed it again. It plays a LOT better in every capacity. 2 games in and I finally feel comfortable playing NCAA for the first time in a while, and like you I just started a dynasty.

If someone else gave up on this a month ago, I understand it, but I would definitely recommend giving it another shot now.

This game is point on without messing with sliders post patch. We all come from different game levels and since I don't play nearly as often as the gurus on this site, I have been pleasantly surprised at the difficulty levels and competition with the CPU!

After going undefeated with USC, I took a 3 yr. contract with ND. Back loaded my schedule with highly ranked teams and I'm getting throttled. Having big fun without the hassel of worrying about sliders.

I'm thinking about getting the game for the PS3 and I have a question about the new patch. I can't play online so can i still get the patch and put it on the game with my jump drive?

No. You have to go online directly with the PS3.

I'm picking this up this week for 360 and am looking forward to playing. Sounds like the game is playing really well now that Patch #2 is out. I'm glad I waited to buy until now b/c had I picked it up at launch, and with all the issues it had, I probably would've traded it in long ago.
