cool, what rosters are you using? I put bot madden and ncaa on the shelf until they released the patches, now I'm playing NCAA and I'm happy after after the patch. Madden will be on the shelf just as NCAA was until the patch.

I am using my own rosters, which aren't complete rosters. I only fully name the teams in the Big East and UK, IU, and of course UofL. And then only name certain players off the other teams, basically guys that I think will go into Madden.

And I put Madden on the shelf as well, until the 2nd patch comes out and hopefully the DLC. I won't start a franchise on Madden until I finish my first year of NCAA so that I can import draft classes.

Regarding the scheduling, my friend just finished year one of a Michigan dynasty. In year two, he plays AT Penn State again, as in the first season, but the OSU game is at home for him, when it was at OSU in the first season, so hopefully not all the games are screwy in conference.
