Two Weeks of Madden 09, and Official Patch News!

I'm glad to see that the in game freezes are being addressed, but what about those of us who suffers from the franchise-ending save freezes after the first season or two? As I've already posted in the corresponding thread, my franchise worked perfectly right up until the third season. Played multiple games in a row, never trained, and then BAM third season comes, and I am no longer able to sim or save. Effectively killing my franchise.

It appears that others are having identical problems. It always appears to be season 3 too. I just really hope that all the freezing issues are addressed, as though the majority may suffer from the ingame freezes, there are those of us who are plagued by an entirely different beast.

Right now, I am so happy with you guys. Now there is no telling how I'll feel once the patch is released, maybe somethings are embellished but hey, hopefully it'll fix everything like you say.

I'm really excited for the progression/regression. Now, does that fix the incoming rookies from NCAA not being all 90+? If those two are fixed, three weeks can be waited out and I'll enjoy it playing NCAA until then.

I'm really excited, but I'd love to know if the NCAA draft class thing is fixed.

Woah! Forget any other games for the year. Madden and NBA Live all year around this time. Really excited for the patch!

Thats great news, Ian and it makes us feel good that alot of these fixes were with the help of us..something you dont see often in this videogame industry, actually its a "first" in my eye's..im 34 years old, i have a pretty deep videogame hobby that i still keep to this very day and i've been on many other boards with developers interacting in the forum communities i been a part of.. Bizzare Creations, Rare, Sega, 2k, etc ..and this is the first time i can honestly say that we "us gamers in here" have really helped make Madden a better game..that makes us feel good..im sure i can speak for the rest when i say that and it was you guys that let it become a reality.

Also, i would just like to say i have faith that you'll make some noticble changes for madden 2010. If you guys can just dramatically raise up that level of atmosphere and presentation for madden 2010 along with some obvious game tweaks that is still needed...honestly i think Madden 2010 would be the true pinnacle of NFL Football Videogaming..the ball is now in your hands along with the rest of your staff of course.. lead us to that glory now that we all been waiting for since NFL2k5... i just feel that your gonna help make Madden 2010 that game we all been waiting for...i just have that gut feeling.

Madden09 will definately hold me down til 2010 .. especially after patch2 and the extra free DLC is just icing on the cake if it comes through ...

Thx to Ian and Tiburon for putting some time aside of us hardcore gamers with these extra patches and possible DLC soon.. thats definately some respect there, i must admit.

Maybe as far as the DLC and convincing MS and Sony you guys could put up a petition or something on Madden's website. Call it the "Gamer's Voice" or whatever, and show MS and Sony that the customer wants it.
