One red flag though. I don't see "Robo-QB".

(FYI, I just skimmed the post real quick because I'm excited and I need to go, so sorry if I missed it).
No, you are correct. We are planning on addressing this with the CPU sliders since they will be so tightly coupled.

What are the chances of the DLC being released? I know you said there werent any guarantees..., but any idea on what the chances are and when we could expect to see the content assuming it can be released?

So after the patch, when you save in franchise, it will not be possible to have a lockup?

Fantastic. If franchise progression, acc clock and CPU sliders are added to 09, it will be twice as good a game in my books, and I already like it, I just question its ability to last once I tire of Play Now. Hopefully this will fix that.

I know you mentioned regression in the 5th point's heading, but is this for certain going to be fixed? because it may be a bigger issue than progression as vets not getting worse is just brutal for a franchise's long term health.

Anyway, I'm stoked to hear all of this. I can't wait until it is released to check it out. And the DLC sounds freaking awesome.

What about Robo QB. Has that been addressed?

Big thank you to Ian and EA!!! Your efforts at fixing this game and more have reaffirmed my faith in your company! If this patch does for Madden what patch #2 did for NCAA, I will be playing football non-stop through the entire season for the first time since Madden 2000.

And if the Bonus DLC gets approved, I may just end up single!

It sounds like they will introduce CPU sliders to tackle this issue. I tend to agree, as long as they make sure the CPU accuracy slider is working properly. I say this because not everyone is reporting it being an issue for them, and honestly, if you don't care much about deadly accurate stats, the robo QB is probably the best way in recent Madden's to get a good challenging game out of the CPU without being *too* silly. Hey, it beats some of the nonsense big plays I used to see the CPU do just to keep up with me in prior Madden's.
