Yeah I think Yukes needs to look at games like fire pro and how fun that game is cause reversals are base on the wrestler strengths and weakness. Kicking out of pins was not button mashing just hold the X button and a guy like the Undertaker would kick out until you beat the crap outta him like in real life.
In smackdown 1 finisher and more times than not you are pinned. Matches have ended when the person was only orange not even red. That would never happen in fire pro you earned your victories and you could grapple in fire pro. In smackdown against another human you barely every pull off strong grapples cause they are always reversed so you punch and kick and do a few quick grapples and some ground moves.
That is a big problem with smackdown 1 move in the 1st 30 sec of a match and your guy stays down like his body is in the red opening him up for a few submission holds and a bunch of stomping moves He should get up right away early on in a match. As his body takes damage he should stay down longer based on his body color red being the longest to stay down. In fire pro and no mercy guys didn't stay down until they got beat up a bit. Also the more your guy gets hurt the harder it is for him to reverse a move. A little realism here I'll be fighting a friend and he is orange even red and he still reverses my moves with not problem. I feel like I'm playing a UFC match with the punch/kick and submission moves only.
Sorry for the long rant, but I wish they would play fire pro see the good stuff in it and add it to the SVR series. Like 1 button hold to break out of pins. Have a pin rating so guys like the Undertaker are tougher to pin it's not that hard to do fire pro did it. I could go on but I will stop here.
