Re: NCAA Football 09 Patch 2 Info (Pasta Padre)

I hope someone can answer this; is there any chance that the replays on the PS3 version will be fixed so that the ball actually rotates on pass plays? Right now it just looks ridiculous. I have a hard time believing they would address this issue when it only effects the PS3 but I am really hoping I am wrong.

You mean the white stripe on the ball doesn't move on the replay on the PS3? That has got to look weird.

I've got a 360 and on the replays it rotates fine. I wonder what's up with that?

The ball might rotate around twice on a 30 yard pass. And yes, it does look absolutely ridiculous. I have the 360 version as well and the replays on that are just fine.

Any new info? Why aren't we seeing a list of items addressed?

/\/\/\/\ Because they don't care, or they wouldn't have put out such a crappy game. That being said, they likely have a FULL plate what with all of the glitches in this game... It's kind of like "where do we start". Oh well, they keep making em, we keep buying them... At least for another coupld of years... I hope the leagues don't make the same mistake in a couple of years that they did in 2004...

No new info to report. Adam (OMT) did say that they will release patch details when the patch is done. He said the second patch (important one) was hopefully going to be nailed down for August 1st so maybe we will get more info when have actually finished it. Early September was the last I heard for us getting our hands on it.

Re: NCAA Football 09 Patch 2 Info (Pasta Padre)

At this point I am thinking that this game will be close to perfect once the 2nd patch is released. Considering we are talking the beginning of September, I would say that is also almost perfect since that is basically the beginning of football season.

If the sliders, pass accuracy/defense and other issues are actually fixed I think this will be the first real Next-Gen experience.

I am most likely going to rent Madden and buy it used (if at all)... but right now I am happy with my NCAA 09 purchase, even pre-patch!
