Agreed. And with that being said, the flaws in the game are certainly there. Pass Rush/Pass Pocket, Defenders maintaing leverage in zone coverage, defender reaction in zone coverage when no one is in their zone, the return game, etc.

Despite those probs, I still have fun with it. And that's the bottom line, and if they can fix those probs, that's gravy.

I also think I have gotten better in coverage by utilizing my players to their strengths a bit better in the secondary. The Press, MCV, ZCV attributes seem to play a pretty decent role.

For you, I assume. Which is fine, but for me, I have had a ton of fun.

Never settle for anything bkrich83, or anybody on here. If you do, you get NCAA 09
I haven't given up anything, or settled for anything. Either I enjoy a game, and I play it, or I don't and I move on. It's that simple. No need to talk down to people who don't share your view on the game, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Right, you either like it or you don't. With my Xbox 360 probably a week away from arrival and Madden only 3+ weeks away, I might hold out on this game though.

I think it's worth a rental. I am going to go ahead and get the CE Madden, for the sole reason of getting Head Coach before September. Madden looks fun, but Head Coach is the game I really looking forward to.

I mean really, is it that hard?
If they did this, they wouldn't be reviewing the game before it comes out anymore.

Once again, the hateful whiners have hijacked another thread. The names are always the same too. Coincidence? I think not.
What are you, 15 years old?

I'm exactly .500 in a dozen online games so far, so I hardly think I "suck"

Tell me exactly how it is that I would "suck" If I call a defense, and as a safety or LB user, have my responsibilty blanketed, only to see leaks everywhere else, and my opponent just calmly sits back and laughs at the slow as molasses blitz that doesnt draw an drop of pressure, or my other defenders fail to cover any one else.

Then, when I get the ball, I methodically do the same thing back.

In a dozen games, the only pressure my defense has generated has been against morons rolling out into DB blitzes.

The front 7 has done NOTHING, and this is playing with teams ranging from UCF to Georgia.

I'd also like to add that offline Im doing fine. like someone else said earlier, its just a matter of getting comfortable with how the game works. I am getting good games, and Im just about to start my offline dynasty.

Online, though, all that goes out the window. The problems are much more magnified because you just cannot account for all of the weakness in the slightest.

I still don't get why so many of you are upset with what a reviewer says. It's one person's opinion. Everyone has different things they want out of the game. Some rate games higher for online play while others want a competitive CPU. Reviewers are also never going to trash a game, especially one from a large company that is giving them exclusive interviews and games before release date.
