Despite Flaws, NCAA 09 a Great Experience

NCAA Football 09 has received a mixed reaction thus far in the OS Community, which is of no suprise. Check out what Chris Sanner had to say about the game in his article Despite Flaws, NCAA 09 a Great Experience.

Quote:
"As it stands right now, NCAA Football 09 is a game which is extremely fun to play warranting a high review score. While there is just enough wrong with the gameplay out of the box to hold it back from receiving a 9 or higher, I would give it a score some where just below that mark if I were the one reviewing the game."
Platform: Xbox 360 / PS2 / PS3 / Wii / PSP

I love the game. Just wish you could have the option to NOT use HFA in an online game and that passing was a little harder (lower QB comp %)

agreed. the game certainly has its flaws (every game does, at least when it comes to sports), but i've found a slider set that seems to work so far to tweak some of the on field problems. wish the cpu deep ball was more of a threat, but i really cant remember the last game where it was. anyway, all i know is i'm having fun playing, and i don't find myself looking at the game clock thinking "it's only the 1st quarter still?" and just wanting it to end asap like i have in previous years of ncaa/madden.

Definitely one of the best football games I've played.

This game is great if you like playing offence and scoring a lot of points.

However to anyone that likes playing defence, or a sim style game its a slap in the face.

And I think saying this game is a few small things away from greatness is a huge overstatement.

If liked this game just wait for 2010, ea will add 3 passes of 30 yards and claim to have revolutionized the game. I am of the school that was thinking this might be the worst ncaa in the last 5 years.

PS: the guy at the gamestop where I got the game said they have had more of this years game returned then any year he could remember over the last few year so at least it's not just me.
