The precise reason why I've had an account here for around 5 years, but only have 100+ posts. Some of you guys make it really hard to want to be an active participant of the site. The passion some have for these games is amazing, and that passion makes this the first place I come to when I'm seeking answers about a sports game. But, that same passion often buries threads in run of the mill fanboyism you can find anywhere on the internet....and I disappear until the next big release. I'd love to see folks just relax around here. I really would.

Am I missing something? Why is this thread so many pages long already before there's even a demo out? I mean, don't these threads usually stay locked until people can verify they have the game, etc.?

Because it's supposed to be about Matt (TheLetterZ) answering questions from people about the game. He got to demo it in Washington D.C. a couple of days ago.

I didn't buy 2K7 last year(1-because MVP 05 is a damn good game and 2-because 2K6 was horrible) and I am seeing a lot of people here saying that 2K7 was great AND I am seeing a lot of people say that 2K7 was bad....

All I am really seeing is a general opinion on the game..

does anybody have a thorough answer to why 2K7 was good or why 2K7 was bad? And why 2K8 will be good or bad??

It was far more bad than good if you ask me. ERA glitches, lineup glitches, guys not coming back from the disabled list, Homeruns left and rignt. Very little hit variety. Mediocre fielding.

On the plus side decent graphics and decent presentation. Just my two cents.
