Things you might know in Madden 12

I figure to get this thread started cause I dont see anyone doing this. But this thread is for strategy and gameplay things people may not realize Offensively or Defensively, if I hear or see something in the Madden community I will post it as soon as I can.

Playmaker

Once the play breaks down and you have no rush at you, Hold down the LT and the right stick (pause) and the nearest reciever will move in the direction you told them to go. This helps for people who run zone coverage.

In today's tip I will cover a play and formation I starting to like (pause) The Gun Split Close I recommend putting a TE on the SL and use the TE Backfield package. Reason being is if you audible down (pause) to the Strong Close for example the TE's and the WR will be in the correct spots and it wont be illegal in SFL terms.

Gun Split Close -FB Trail (Pit KC)

Setup 1

1. streak the slot WR
2. slant out both outside WR's

Reads
1. SE&FL 2. FB Angle Route (pause) 3. SL 4. RB

Setup 2 (Man Coverage)

1. Drag the FL (right WR)
2. Slant out the SL
3. Block the RB
4. Motion the FL to the left
5. Snap after he takes 2 steps

Reads 1. slant out 2. drag 3. Angle 4. Streak
