The game is releasing 10 July for the PC (ALL regions).

I really hope this game is a sign that Codemasters is going back to their sim past. Dirt Rally is phenomenal and I can only hope this continues the new trend.

If anyone gets it on PC, feel free to shoot me a Steam add so we can race sometime.

This game looks really promising. However, I'm starting to wonder, is there even a career mode (using your own created driver) on this edition? It's been strangely quiet about this...

Oh that's is unfortunate, I really was hoping it would come out in NA on xbox one early July. Guess I will play it on PC until then!

No career mode this year. It will have a season mode where you take an actual driver instead of creating your own.

This is correct. Also, the season mode will only include a single season since FIA doesn't allow games to have drivers switching teams. In other sports games, this is not the case.

On a similar topic, if you watch enough international racing, you'll quickly learn that the FIA rules with an iron fist and keeps everything on lock. Read about the FIA if you wish...http://www.fia.com/.

In F1 2015 you can play the whole 2014 season and you can also play the whole 2015 season so you could start in 2014, make up some rules to determine what team you drive for in 2015 and essentially create your own career mode.
