Recommend any quasi-sim PC Racing games good with Steering Wheels?

Hi all,

I recently picked up a DFGT steering wheel after driving a few laps of iRacing at a buddy's house. Since then, I've realized I'm not exactly a great fit for 100% simulations, so I'm looking for something other than iRacing.

I love Forza and GT5, but I'd really like a few PC titles. Grid seems too arcade. Can anyone recommend any PC games that are decent when used with a steering wheel and that aren't uber-arcade? I prefer games where there are all sorts of different cars available (hence my love for Forza, GT)...

NASCAR Racing 2003 Season is a great pc sim based game one of the best ever. You can ind it on ebay and other sites. It has lots of mods for it as well.

I would think your next stop would be rFactor. It has thousands of mods to make it whatever you want it to be, although a lot of the mods are pretty crappy. But that can be as sim or as arcade as you want it to be (and it's also based on the mod's settings), and you will be able to race almost anything you can think of through sites like rfactorcentral.com.

Yeah I forgot about rFactor and rFactor 2 is rumored to be coming out by this Christmas

Race 07 and all of its mods and expansions are also a very good choice. They are pretty cheap on Steam now to.
