Fanatec Wheel with NASCAR THE GAME

I have purchased, but not opened, NASCAR The Game for the PS3. I own the Fanatec Carrera Wheel (and also have an awesome racing cockpit I built from pvc pipe in hopes that this game would be good) and I haven't heard how Fanatec wheels are doing with the new NASCAR game. It is a shame that the main wheels this game is supporting are the Logitech Wheels. I know they are good wheels, but there are other companies out there.

Anyone have the game and a Fanatec wheel? Let me know what you think.

I just attempted to race with the GT2 wheel and Club Sport pedals. Basically, the game is unplayable currently for that setup. Such a letdown right now. I hope they patch it soon.

What made the game so unplayable? I still haven't opened it.

The wheel isn't supported yet, so when you try to drive with it...you can't a**ust any type of sensitivity and it always wants to pull to the left with no input. Almost like it needs a calibration.

Same thing happened with my MC2 wheel. I hope they *** both because I am really close to buying a Fanatec off someone right now.

Re: Fanatec Wheel with NASCAR THE GAME

I tried the game briefly with my fanatec wheel (only on two tracks). Not a great experience but not enough to tell whether it was more the wheel with the game or just the game itself. It did work in the sense I could generally steer the car but it didn't leave me with a great feeling after trying it. I'm hoping to try it again tonight.

Off topic but I love that somehow I have hijacked someone's avatar of a *** in a Rays jersey playing ** Hero.

keep in mind that stock cars are generally "yawed" to the left which may be some of the left turn pull you feel...and on a sidenote I now have the Rays kitty to lmao but I did not put it there
