Why have this debate if you don't want to get into specifics? What is better about those games?

Well, except for the racing part in GT5, which is realistic. Is there something in TOCA beyond racing cars? If I remember correctly, you don't even purchase cars in TOCA.

Perhaps you should visit the tune shop in GT Mode? Plenty of customization. Not a ton of visual customization, but the cars look good enough already.

As for tracks, could you cite examples? I see little difference between Forza and Gran Turismo's tracks.

Someone please correct me if I'm mistaken, but you speak of 3D crowds. I went to google and searched for a crowd picture, and came upon a forum thread of people talking about Forza's graphics.

Burnout:

Shift:

GT 5 (Stolen from the photo thread)
Spoiler

Shift is an excellent looking game, no doubt. But I humbly disagree with the above statements.

The above images were taken from races. Details aren't disappearing from cars during races and reappearing when you take photos. The cars in GT 5 look phenomenal.

Also, the last statements makes no sense to me.

Dude at first glance that Porsche pic looks real. I was wondering why you were posting it.
Secondly that pic is definitely photoshoped. Nowhere , that I know of , you see the crowd standing in complete darkness like that. Once you start photoshoping that pic loses credibility. In no way I say Forza has the best crowds on earth but they definitely aren't the worse.

When racing cars don't have the same level of detail as they do in photo mode. The resolution is knocked back to keep the game moving.

Firstly, are you accusing me of photoshopping that picture? If so, check this thread. (NOTE: I do not share the views in that thread, just the pictrues. If you can prove otherwise, please do.)

Also note that all of the pictures above were not taken in game, so saying that cars in race don't look as good is a moot point.

Do you realize that any criticism that is given to GT5, yourself and Enigma keep jumping all over people? Face it, GT5 is far from perfect. Considering it took 5-6 years to release (depending in which region you live) people will have some negatives.

I didn't jump on anybody. This is how debates work. Person A makes a point, Person B rebuts, and so on. If any of the posts I have made offended you, I apologize. Now if you would like to join the debate and explain why you feel GT is far from perfect, sans its development time, please do so.

As for the posts above, I'd take GT5's visuals over all of them, but that is my opinion. Although I'm not sure how one can make a reasonable comparison between a GT 5 and a PS2 game (TOCA). I'd still like to know why you feel it is better.

That's a PC and Xbox game of Toca 3...
