Ideas on setting up racing wheel at home(Low budget!) Post pics!

I am going to be getting a logitech racing wheel Im sure once GT5 comes out. My problem is that I never can seem to get one set up where it's comfortable to play. I either have it too low/high, and the table or desk I have it on moves on me!

Post some pics if you can of ur "low budget" setup that you have for your racing wheel if you can, thanks!

If you wanna do it right. You can do it for around 100 bucks. I don't play a ton of racing games. But I do have a flight sim pit at my house.

Basically go to a junk yard and pick up a bucket seat. Should get it for next to nothing. Then go to Lowes and pick up a sheet or two of 3/4" plywood. Some simple cutting, nailing, painting and you have a pit that works correctly.

Example pics to give ideas.

My setup consists of the racing wheel mounted to a TV tray with the pedals underneath. Low budget, for sure, but it works alright!

Also, it's easy to remove when I'm not using it since I just slide the TV tray off to the side.

I've done that before, and prolly will go with that agin. But don't you have problems with the tv stand moving?? I know I did! How do you get the stand to stay firmly planted on the floor, without it moving when you turn your steering wheel???

I've had some issues with that, but for the most part it doesn't move unless I really jerk it hard.

Obviously, if you want to do it right, you probably should get a stand. I'm sure I'll get one in the future when I get my own place, but it's hard to now.
