Fuel Video (Gamersyde)

Gamersyde has posted a video from Fuel.

I am not sure why some of the stuff in the trailer (monster trucks) looks like it is pulled out of DiRT. This game seems to be unsure of its own identity or afraid to commit 100% to the post-apocalyptic vibe. Kind of the same identity crisis all of their games have suffered from this gen. Trying to please too many market demographics and not hitting the perfect cord with any.

Still, it has a Powerslide vibe to it. and for me. that makes it my most anticipated Codemaster game of the year. Which isn't hard considering I have lost all love for Codies after they have whored out everything I cared about.

This could be interesting if they can shake the car on a stick syndrome all of their games since CMR2 have suffered from. Codies tend to do better off road so that bodes well for this title. I am less concerned about the 'weather' gimmick after this video but who knows, that could blow up into one major stupid hurdle.

Also didn't care to see an ATV riding tricking off a jump...did they mix in a clip from "Pure"? That could be a potentially damning gimmick as well. Why devolve into all things when you haven't proved to do one thing well yet?
