Sprint Cars 2: Showdown at Eldora Review

We have just posted our review of Sprint Cars 2: Showdown at Eldora.

"The Playstation 2 is beginning to show it's age these days but yet it still is competitive with its big brother and the 360 in terms of sales numbers. With the console selling quite well, some publishers are still taking advantage of the consoles still huge user-base."

Good review, I think I'll pick it up for my friend that is a huge Sprint Car fan and goes to Eldora often.

Is not compatible with PS3 system. 80 GB. Bought today and works horribly

From the screenshots, it looks like it still uses the same engine that Ratbag used for DTR, DTR2, DTRSC, etc. That's a good thing, even if it's not on par with World of Outlaws (no dirt game is). I didn't know this came out, and I can toss them $20 to have a little "fresh" dirt racing, even if it's not quite as fresh as I'd like...

One thing that's always bugged me about those games (not so much in WoO) is the model of a sprinter itself. The tires are too tall, the stagger doesn't have a fat enough rear tire with enough of a spacer on it. From the cockpit camera it's not a huge issue, but it sure does bug when looking at them from the rear!
