Official Spurs Thread

After watching football for a few years I have decided to finally settle down and pick a team in the Premier League to follow. After looking into many different things (roster, key history points, fan base, location, colors, famous fans) I have decided to become a Spur fan.

My question is, what are things (good and bad) I should know about the Spurs and how do other teams look at them. (Besides Arsenal, I know about that hatred).

At least he didn't pick a team that's going to win anything next year. Can't call him a bandwagoner.

First of all, you don't put "the" in front of Spurs. Second, supporting Tottenham is an emotional roller coaster that almost always ends poorly. Best of luck to you, and coys.

Yea I did not want to jump on any big bandwagons. Where I live I hear mostly about Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man U and Man City. Also Fulham because of Dempsey but now he is gone.

I hope you didn't pick Spurs JUST to not be a bandwagoner, because that is equally as obnoxious as a bandwagon fan.

It's like giving your kid a completely made up name just so they can be special.

No that is not it at all. That is the reason I took out teams like Arsenal, Chelsea and the other big names. Then with all the EPL teams left I went through looking at history, roster Ect...to find one I thought would be a good fit.

I know it's a weird way I pick a team but being a EPL fan in Iowa is kind of tough.
