Don't worry. The Kop will have a song prepared for you on March 1, 2016.

Re: The Transfer Thread

Only £24m for Schneiderlin—not to shabby at all. I asume his wages are hefty, though.

That takes the list of Southampton players who have been sold to bigger clubs since 13/14 to this: Adam Lallana, Luke Shaw, Rickie Lambert, Dejan Lovren, Calum Chambers, Nathaniel Clyne, Morgan Schneiderlin.

I feel like I missed one, but I think that's it.

Re: The Transfer Thread

I don't understand why ppl think Sterling won't continue to develop for Citeh. When you spend that much on a player they're going to play. We (Chelsea) did the same thing when trotting out a broken Torres for so long. He's going to slot it on the right and give them some much needed directness which is something they didn't get from Navas. 4-2-3-1 with Nasri/Silva/Sterling behind Aguero could be VERY lethal going forward (tracking back would be a nightmare although Sterling is the best defensively out of the bunch which isn't saying much, lol). Even 4-3-3 with Silva/Sterling on the wings could work. They still need MF help badly though.

No chance Navas plays more than him. None.

I still hope they go out and get a defensive midfielder. They haven't had a good one since De Jong left.

Who said Navas will play more than him? I said Sterling will take Navas' spot. You're right about De Jong. Toure needs a player like him to protect him.
