Re: The Official 2013-14 Regular Season Talk Thread

Anyone going to/gone to any of the stadium series games? I know it's kind of a gimmick, but I think it's oddly charming. If could get any of my b*tch as buddies to brave the cold w/ me, I would totally go to one of the games at Yankee stadium. Even though I hate all the teams involved at the venue...

I'd go to the pseudo-outdoor Heritage Classic in Vancouver if the cheapest tickets were less than $200.

The Sharks just re-signed Thornton and Marleau to 3/20 extensions, BTW.

Stastny is going to get paid when he hits the market in July.

Tonight's Flames vs. Predators game features the only two NHL teams that will not be sending a forward to the Olympics.

Although, with Dubnyk returning to net, there could be plenty of goals for Calgary.

I can't believe that Sharks corp has made it this long with all the disappointments in the playoffs they've dropped. On one hand it's somewhat admirable that they've been this patient. On the other hand....

I don't see a problem here. San Jose's shrewd drafting (Pavelski, Couture, Vlasic, Hertl, et al) has extended their title window (I wish Vancouver could say the same), so might as well keep going for it.
