And no surprise for the Panthers, Tkachuk is suddenly healthy for game 1.

The league really needs to make a rule where if you don't play a single game within 20 days (to prevent LTIR at the end) from the end of the regular season you're deemed ineligible for round 1.

Vegas does it and Panthers doing it and the NHL won't care.

Guarantee if the Leafs or Oilers did it, Bettman would issue a new rule asap.

I posted on here years back that one of the craziest things I ever saw in sports was Peter Forsberg missing the entire 2001-2002 regular season only to return for the playoffs that year and lead the postseason in scoring -- despite only playing three rounds.

That may be topped, seeing this tonight.
