2012 NFL Sunday Ticket Discussion Thread

I am thinking about getting the Sunday Ticket for the PS3 and was wondering:
A) How do I get it loaded up onto my PS3, do I have to pay directly through the company or do I download an app from the PS3 store and go from there? I could not find any app in the PS3 store.

B) For anyone that had it last year how was the actual service? I know that it was a little shaky on the PS3 in the beginning but did they get the service straightened out.

C) PFT had an article a couple months ago regarding a price drop too I believe 199.99 for the whole season. I can't find any info from the website or anywhere else regarding the price drop and the PS3?

I'm on my phone and can't link but just find the thread on this from last year.

I haven't heard of any improvements. I think I used it for one month before getting rid of it.

Re: NFL SUNDAY TICKET QUESTION FOR PS3

I remember looking a few weeks ago for it on the PS3, don't think it's available for purchase through PS3 yet unless it's become available recently.

Going to look into that myself soon as come the first week of September going to get through PS3 if the price is right.

Re: NFL SUNDAY TICKET QUESTION FOR PS3

It was terrible for me, I ended up switching back to streams because of it. I had a fairly good internet and was still getting blurry video. I'm guessing it will be better this year, I'd hate to see people waste their money again.

I found the link , it didn't give me anymore insight into why I can't find a place to even purchase the service If I wanted to. I'm assuming their waiting until closer to the season to let PS3 owners subscribe which doesn't make much sense.

Was your service on the PS3? I've found some blogs talking about streaming issues early on from last year which most said seemed to have been resolved. I figure for 199.99 or less is a pretty good deal to be able to watch any every football game.

You won't be able to purchase it until the week before the season.

Yes, I'm referring to the ps3 service.

Was your issue with Blurry video or the service going in and out?

Re: NFL SUNDAY TICKET QUESTION FOR PS3

I used it since my dad had DirecTV, and I used his account info to login and be able to watch games from my house.
Anyways, the normal TV broadcasts are on a couple second delay on DirecTV, add in a little longer delay for the PS3 broadcasts. Sometimes the stream would "buffer"/freeze up, but honestly it worked well for me.
I also liked how easily you could access stats from the games, I think that is an underrated feature, but that may be just me.
