Brad Nessler and Mike Mayock to take over commentary for NFL Network primetime games

Obviously we have to make sure we're having a season first, but assuming we do I think that this duo could be the best commentary team on television. It's certainly light years ahead of any team the NFL Network has had recently.

Anything was better than what they had, that's for sure.

Mayock is AMAZING!

Brad Nessler is quite good though I associate him more with college football. His style is more suited to the college game but I can see him working well with Mayock as their on air personalities would mesh well. Nessler the somewhat laid back midwesterner and Mayock the uber intelligent and football savvy analyst.

It would work quite well.

Awesome. Much better than listening to Millen and Theismann.

Great news. NFL Network has had some of the most awful commentary teams I've ever heard.

Mayock and Charles Davis. I like Davis on Fox (I think?) and Mayock is like football awesomeness, good combo for me

Agreed. I really had a hard time watching Thursday Night Football last year, mainly because of the commentary.
