Great backup for Flacco, gives them veteran leadership. Won't give them much on the field if he plays like he has been.

Yep that seems to be one of the better places he could go. At least if Flacco gets injured for any stretch of time Bulger won't have to worry about getting his bell rung.

Don't think that's the case at all, Just gives them a nice addition of depth at the QB position. It's a good signing both ways.

I agree with you...it's giving them a balance.

Yeah like deaduck said, that's not the case here. Bulger isn't what he used to be. He's now a good backup, average starter. A guy who can get you through a stretch of games while your starter is injured, but not someone you want leading your team through a full 16 game season. Good signing for the Ravens.

No idea why you think he'd be in the running for the starting job. As for Troy Smith, he wants to go somewhere he can start. I'm surprised he's still on the team now but he'll be gone before the season starts. I wish him luck.

Haha you got a former number one overall in Troy Smith seating on the bench. What don't the coaches trust this guy are something. What a waste of a number one pick down the drane. Plus you bring in guy in March Bulger who can't stay healthy to say his life over the past few years and you bring him in as backup instead of trusting in a former #1 overall. What ashame.
