NFL changes overtime format for playoffs

Personally, I think its better than sudden death rules that are established now. It also makes playoff overtime more exciting to watch, especially to see if the other team could come back and score. Would you want this rule to apply to regular season games and remove tie games? Your thoughts?

I always thought that the best solution would be to have the first team to 6 points win.

Why wouldn't you do it throughout the season?

I like the idea, but the overtime only changes if the team who gets the ball first doesn't score a Touchdown.

The only fair solution is 7 minute quarters until someone wins.

Just like ive said in the past, there's no need to change the rules regarding OT and/or ties and that there's really an easy solution to cease all the hoopla about OT/Ties.

I wanted the OT format changed w/ a passion. After seeing the Packers and Cardinals playoff game, I am now a believer of the current system

I'd either like to see the college system, but start teams around the 40 or 50, or shortened quarters until someone wins.

I hate that it is possible for one team to win the game without the other getting a possession.
