The busts and future hall-of-famers of the 2009 Draft

the busts and future hall of famers of the 2009 draft
Overall number drafted. Team that was drafted by. Name of prospect. Position. Reason. percentage of bust or HOF chance.
pretty sure that there busts
#7 radiers, Darius Heyward-Bey WR. not a football player much less an nfl football player. 85%
#9 packers, B.J. Raji DT. great production in college but something tells me thats hes a bust. 100%
#13 redskins, Brian Orakpo. this seasons Vernon Gholston maybe a little better, maybe a little worse. 95%
#26 packers, Clay Mathews LB. i give him a small chance that he will turn into an all pro LB. 75%
Maybe bust
#17 Bucs, Josh Freeman QB. if only he had bad character then he would be a perfect bust prospect. 15%
#22 Vikings, Percy Harvin WR. Since the the college season he only lowered his bust capability. 35%
#23 Ravens, Micheal Oher T. chosen by one of best drafting teams but still draws suspicion from me. 25%
#24 Falcons, Peria Jerry DT. See Micheal Oher. 35%
#29 Giants, Hakeem Nicks WR. Will never turn into another Plaxico Burress but i think will eventually turn into a good no. 2. 40%
#30 Titans, Kenny Britt WR. Why did the giants skip a taller reciever? 35%
#31 Cardinals, Chris Wells RB. An Awesome athlete but does he have the character? 35%
#32 Steelers, Evander Hood DT. I think Mike Tomlin made this pick, not the Steeler front office. 30%

Future Hall of Famers
#3 Chiefs, Tyson Jackson 3/4 DE. may be even better than richard seymour. 30%
#4 Seahawks, Aaron Curry LB. i think that Aaron Curry, while not being a perfect fit but almost perfect fit with the hawks, he will be a hall of famer. Athletic ability and work ethic come together for this prospect. 70%
#6 Bengals, Andre Smith LT. Of course im a bama fan but i really believe that Andre Smith can be another Walter Jones. 25%
#12 Broncos,Knowshon Moreno RB. Rare agility and Versatility solid chance at becoming a top RB in the nfl. 20%
#14 Saints, Malcolm Jenkins CB. Great pick for the saints, not sudden production but if let him develop he has a chance to be a great corner, one of those awesome character guys that i absolutely love. 15%
#15 Texans, Brian Cushing LB. great pick for the texans, not so great fit though for Cushing, just glad he didnt go to Pats, Chiefs, and Tennessee even. see Aaron Curry. 50%
#18 Broncos, Robert Ayers DE. Mike Mayock loves him to death so i gotta add him to the list. 15%
#27 Colts, Donald Brown RB. Gotta put a colt on here, great character and feet, he has a small chance to end up in canton. 5%

As someone who hasn't missed snap of USC football in years. I think you should reverse Cushing and Matthews..

Cushing has a higher bust chance, while Matthews is more likely to see extended success, imo.

I was unimpressed with this draft class. Matthew Stafford considered the best QB? Ha. Plus he's gone to Detroit. His career is already over.

A few decent players here and there, but a ton of overrated guys. I just think this class will be quickly forgotten.

The single fact that you have Andre Smith as a HOFer and not a bust kills the entire rest of your list.

If there is one player in the ENTIRE DRAFT with bust written all over him, it's Andre "man titties" Smith.

Check him out at 0:40

Re: The busts and future hall-of-famers of the 2009 Draft

It's impossible to even rate these guys as NFL players TODAY much less project them out as HOFers.

Anyways I think Stafford will be a bust or at the very least a disappointment, not because he sucks or anything but because being drafted by the Lions at the QB position is the kiss of death.

I will say though, that if Clay Mathews Jr. is halfway as good as his old man was then he'll be a borderline HOF type player.
