Players who "had bust written all over them"

So I was reading NFLdraftcountdown's draft reviews and I got to the Cards grade. In it they mentioned how the Cards "hit a homerun" with Dominique Rodgers Cromartie. As I read it, I thought of how many different sources said that he was a bonified bust waiting to happen. This brought me to his cousin who had the same knock on him that he was a clear busts.

Who are some other players that were supposed to be busts but ended up being as good as their combine measurables said they would be?

LOL.

You missed a few more. Buster Barnett, Buster Maddux, Buster Mitchell, Buster Mott, Buster Rayborn. Ruster Ramsey, and Buster Rhymes. Just getting them out there at once so we don't see them filtering in slowly.

Well, Mario Williams comes to mind. He was labeled as a huge mistake by plenty of experts since he was picked over Reggie Bush (you know, that injury prone situational player we're all still waiting for to "change the face of football.").

After a somewhat slow start, he's been quite productive (26 sacks over the last two years).

Can't remember his first name, but the the McGwire quarterback that went to Seattle looked like a bust from the get-go. I think he was Mark McGwire's brother if memory serves. First rounder that did absolutely nothing.

A lot of people thought Matt Ryan would be a bust.

A lot of people thought Heath Shuler would be great.
