Re: Kurt Warner, Hall of Fame?

Not even close. His body of work overall won't get many votes (if any). Being replaced as a starter for three separate teams is not Hall-worthy.

I will say, though, that at his peak in St. Louis in 2000, he had the most picture-perfect delivery and mechanics that I'd seen in years. He was like a how-to book for playing QB.

But when it comes to the Hall, the system-product vs sheer-talent conversation will always come up, and Warner will be viewed as a good talent, but not elite, that was in a very good system. Breaking his thumb and falling into oblivion won't help, either.

Why is this even a topic? He was good for like three years and then fizzled out.

Re: Kurt Warner, Hall of Fame?

Nope, but if the O-line protected him better in St. Louis and he didn't take as many body shots as he did he'd still be a front line starter in the NFL. His body took a helluva beating before he finally left the Rams.

He did have an amazing start to his career tho.
