ReDraft

If there was a draft of every single player in the NFL who would be the first pick? You have to think about skill, age, position importance, injury rate, etc.

Re: ReDraft

I'd take Aaron Rodgers, and to be honest it's not even close. He's got some years left, makes more types of throws than anyone in the league, has mobility, and quarterback is the most important position on the field.

Cam Newton is another interesting choice, but the jury is kind of still out on him to me.

Re: ReDraft

Aaron Rodgers, Cam Newton, Ndamukong Suh, Calvin Johnson, Aldon Smith, or Jimmy Graham depending on who's picking.

I think Aaron Rodgers would have the best chance of going first though. I think any of them could go first depending on who's selecting first though.

Re: ReDraft

Are you talking about just current players or pick any player in history during his prime?

Re: ReDraft

Aaron Rodgers.

Already at the top of his position, and he's still relatively young.

Re: ReDraft

If it is just current players Aaron Rodgers would be the pick, although I would be seriously tempted to take Rob Gronkowski the way he has played this year.

Re: ReDraft

I think you have to start with a quarterback, so aaron rodgers is the smart and safe choice. proven, gifted and a class act. the riskier but possibly more rewarding pick would be the younger cam newton.

i duno if i'd consider taking gronk with the very first pick of the draft...you're basically saying you'd build your franchise around a tight end.

Re: ReDraft

Top few picks would probably be QBs and D players, but the next players chosen from the offensive side it would be hard to pass on Graham/Gronk they change offenses and drastically effect defenses.
