The Killers. Fast-paced enough not to put anyone to sleep, deep lyrics, great live act, and theatrical. They'd be the best halftime show in a long time.

Spaceman -> Mr. Brightside -> New Song from their album this year -> When You Were Young.

Speaking with first-hand experience of their live performances, the NFL probably shouldn't pick Muse because they'd steal the show.
