I'd love to see Memphis guard Durant like he's an elite scorer.. Way too many easy looks in the Houston series..

I don't think he's great at making plays for others yet, and without Westbrook OKC doesn't have any other big weapons on offense..

I'd much rather see them force Durant to pass and allow some of those other guys to get easy looks than for them to let Durant stay some what comfortable the entire game and frantically try and chase him in the 4th quarter because the game is still close.. This is when guys like Fisher can beat you.

Re: Western Conference Semifinals Discussion Thread

The only thing that sucks about a Spurs sweep is that it takes forever for the next series to come around. Monday night is almost here, though!

I'll take the Spurs in five games with Golden State winning game three at home. We'll see, though. I was laughably wrong about Golden State last round...

I don't see Golden State scoring 100+ points on a nightly basis against the Spurs defense, though. I have faith that Parker (maybe even Kawhi, depending on what Pop does?) can do a serviceable job on Curry.

I loved watching Curry last series and I'll definitely be rooting for him. But I don't see them having a chance against the Spurs..

The key in the SA/GS series is definitely Duncan. I didn't watch the game where Lee came back and doubt he was effective, but I do think the guards + Harrison Barnes will definitely cause problems for San Antonio. Steph Curry is balling out of his mind as of late, and I'm not talking first round, I mean like April and on... If Tim Duncan, can bully Andrew Bogut (like I think he will) and be that 20 and 12 guy that I know he is, I think GS may have some problems.

However, I'm going GS in 6

I can see the GSW blowing out SA once. Maybe even game 1 and then that will be it. Spurs in 5.

Memphis can handle this OKC team. Not too worried.

Denver/SA 2007 redux, hehe? It wasn't a blowout, but the Spurs lost game one at home in the first round, then swept Denver for the rest of the series en route to a sweep of LeBron and company in the NBA Finals.
