NBA Lockout and Collective Bargaining Agreement Discussion

This is to start this thread new and shift the focus back on the issue at hand


There was another meeting today help between both sides which haven't met since the 1st

The one positive is that they seem to have agreed to stop exchanging rhetorical jabs against one another in the media. As long as that public posturing was going on, there wasn't going to be any forward movement. Maybe, just maybe, the negotiations will now begin in earnest.

Had no idea owners were claiming losses up to a billion since the new CBA has been signed.

I don't think the owners themselves know how much they're loosing. That's why everybody outside of the owners is questioning the numbers.
