Is Blake Griffin Peaking?

Hear me out.
I was telling my friend yesterday that I think this is as good as Blake Griffin will be. Not saying that's a bad thing. But I think we're seeing his peak right now. Not saying how long it will last (could be another 4 or 5 years, could be another 12 years.), but I just can't see him being a much bigger producer than he already has become. I see him as a solid 22 and 12 guy for his career, and we're already seeing that.

I just can't see him really becoming much more than what we're seeing now. Not to say that he won't reach a prime year or two of 25 and 15.

Anyone share this opinion, or do any of you want to try to sway my opinion...

Unless he's planning on developing a heroin or cocaine addiction or tearing both ACLs I don't think he's going to peak as a rookie.

I agree. I wonder if injuries will come back to haunt him. You just don't see many high flying kids like him have long careers without injuries. Look at McDyess for a good example.

Blake's testing fate by being a reckless high flying big man while playing for the Clippers. If he stays healthy he can of course get better. Blake can possibly end up averaging 28 15 and 5 with what he can do on the court.

Re: Is Blake Griffin Peaking?

Well with how agressive he is as a player there are gonna be injury problems at some point in his career, but that's just apart of the game.

Unless like posted before he starts doing crack or destroys both knees I see no reason for him to peak in his rookie year

Re: Is Blake Griffin Peaking?

He's just the same as Amar'e was in his first years. He has alot of upside if he stays healthy and develops the same game Amar'e has, shooting jumpers. Let's highlights, more efficiency (both b-ball and health-wise) because nobody can keep this style of play up and stay healthy imo.
