Bogans also had been looked at by the Denver Nuggets. However, the Nuggets have had a contract offer out the past few weeks on guard Flip Murray and are continuing to wait on him. Sources have told FanHouse that Murray has been offered the minimum of $1.1 million by the Nuggets. He is hoping to get the biannual exception of $1.99 million, but indications are the Nuggets, who are over the luxury-tax threshold, are unwilling to spend that much. Murray also is being looked at by Charlotte. It remains to be seen if the Bobcats might come up with an offer that could pry Murray away from Denver. possibly bonner and finley being traded before training camp

Not that it is that huge of a deal but he's a solid enough bench player to fit in pops system.

I think it's a semi big deal. Spurs needed more depth, and now they have addressed that a bit.

I posted this signing in the off-season West thread, but I'll just repeat what I said there.

Bogans definitely helps with keeping Manu fresh, also will be insurance to both Hill and Manu if they aren't getting it done or get injured.

The only question mark for me is their depth at the 4 and 5. They will have to depend on a rookie in Blair and an undersized shooting center in Bonner.

I do think they have enough to get it done though even in the playoffs. This all depends on Duncan if he's still Duncan-ish. If he is on the downslope then their team will fall to Denver or LA maybe even Dallas again.

Yeah ok,they need depth but Bogans???? i don't see him being any type of impact of the bench

Bogans is a solid player that knows his role. He'll contribute, especially if Udoka doesn't re-sign. I don't know what kind of impact you're expecting on a team that's got Richard Jefferson, Manu Ginobili, Roger Mason Jr, and Michael Finley for the the 2-3 spot. He adds depth.
