Lakers would have to REALLY be banking on Dinwiddie rounding back to form from before that Nets trade. I get that maybe he’s checked out this year and that plays a role, but his shooting dropped off a cliff after leaving Dallas last year too.

Lakers been interested in the other two dating back to last season though. So I’d say this definitely feels legit as far as their interest goes.

It was mainly for cap relief for next year. With the new CBA restrictions really starting to kick in this offseason, some teams might make a move before this deadline. I wouldn't be surprised if teams like Minnesota, New Orleans, Cleveland, and ATL to make a trade that seems like a lopsided trade for cap flexibility next offseason. I would expect a trade that brings back expiring deals in any potential deal.
