2017 World Baseball Classic

Ask and ye shall receive.

March 6-22.

Round 1 in Tokyo, Seoul, Miami, and Guadalajara.
Round 2 in Tokyo and San Diego
Final in Los Angeles

On paper, USA should dominate. I saw a tweet earlier saying Chinese Taipei could be a darkhorse, so there's that I guess.

I think Venezuela can make some noise.

Re: 2017 World Baseball Classic

I've got Netherlands and Puerto Rico as teams that can upset some of the favorites.

Re: 2017 World Baseball Classic

I'm curious to see how many players each team is sending.

A's have 5 players, for 5 different countries, from their active roster going. 4 more from the minors making 9 total players for the A's.

Sonny Gray (USA)
John Axford (Canada)
Liam Hendriks (Australia)
Santiago Casilla(Dominican Republic)
Khris Davis (Mexico)

Re: 2017 World Baseball Classic

Don't be surprised if Columbia pulls off an upset in the first round.

I'm gonna go with the consensus and say US/DR in the finals.
