2014 ALDS: Baltimore Orioles v. Detroit Tigers

This is really tough to call. The O's basically have flown under the media radar all year yet cruised to the AL East title. They have solid, unspectacular pitching and win with the long ball and good defense. The Tigers have great starting pitching, an inconsistent 'pen, suspect defense, and a great offense.

I'm going O's in 5...

They don't get the kind of pub that some other teams get but this Orioles team is very well rounded and they have a bullpen that shortens gets to 6-7 innings. I don't like the shakiness of the Tigers pen and their starting pitching has been somewhat inconsistent down the stretch.

One huge key could be Miggy, he's back it looks like, he's been on a tear these last few weeks, and he could carry a team for a series, especially surrounded by great pitching, and a very solid offense.

This a tough pick for me, I'm not ready to make a decision, could go either way.

Is Anibal back to the rotation, or is he coming out of the pen?

I'm taking Baltimore in 4, that bullpen will be the downfall for Detroit.

Detroit still has some starters that can take over a game, plus they have the experience. I like Detroit in this series and it should have some homeruns in it as well

All our starters need to do is give us 5-6 solid innings and I have full faith that our bullpen can take it from there.
