MLB Players Poll: Most Overrated Player

Top three players are Yankees. A total of 7 guys in the top 10 are either Yankee or Red Sox players

They talked about this yesterday on Around The Horn, and as Michael Smith said, "185 people do not make A-Rod's money, and have not had Derek Jeter's life." Some weird ones. Joba? Who overrates Joba?

Re: MLB Players Poll: Most Overrated Player

I fail to see how Jeter on a whole is overrated he has compiled 15 consecutive seasons of 150+ hits. He will have over 3000 by the time his Career is done, a .313 batting average along with 1000+ RBI's and over 230 homers. Jeter Is a born leader, tough as nails and refuses to give up. not to mention the fact that he has played every season for the same team which is a rarity in today's game. His fielding is a tad bit overrated but on a whole Derek Jeter is an amazing athlete. while he has definitely lost a step he is still a key contributor for the Yanks

I'm not sure, but I don't think careers were taken into account. More like maybe the last couple of years.

Albert Pujols made the list. It's already terrible, but from the players? Jeez.

Did you notice they listed Pujols as the Cardinals 3B? Either the people putting the list together don't know baseball, think it's 2001, or they are saying that Pujols is overrated as a 3B.

Not sure who the most overrated player in baseball is. There's too many damn players to sift through and figure it out, lol.
