The following is a statement that has been sent out to all wrestling media:
"The Pro Wrestling landscape is in an interesting place as this year is coming to a close. The biggest company in the industry has undergone a massive change at the top and is entering a new era. It's closest competition has dealt with many locker room issues, top talent and executives being suspended.
It is time for someone to cause some real chaos in the business and shake things up, a company to come along that can both challenge the big boys, as well as give the fans something new.
Enter No Limit Wrestling!
Now whenever there is talk of a new promotion forming the first question many have is who is the owner? Well, NLW is run by a man with over 30 years in the business, a man who has held gold in WWE, WCW, ECW, TNA, and a man who has been praised as having one of the most creative minds in the business... RAVEN!
Now Raven has made it clear he does not want to be the focus of NLW so lets get into what makes NLW different.
First off NLW will have one weekly show, but it will not be limited to the restrictions of a television network, it will be airing weekly live episodes on Twitch.
NLW will have 5 total championships:
World
United States
Twitch
Tag Team
Women's
Now as for the style and plan for NLW, NLW plans to bring old school wrestling back. But no NOT the boring, grappling, slow style of old school. We are talking the era of ECW, The Attitude Era, NLW is not only not going to shy away from, but it is going to embrace the violence that ECW had, it is going to embrace the edginess of the Attitude Era, and it is not going to let society force it to shy away from the sex appeal of women.
NLW has decided not to announce any of its signed talent ahead of time, so fans will have to tune in to the first show and wait to see who shows up.
The one bit of info NLW did give about the talent, is that we will be seeing some current talent that has been mishandled elsewhere, and maybe some talent that has been out of the ring for a bit but want to show they still have what it takes"
