I hate bringing up 2k5 put i love the simulation part of football, i created two teams in both madden 11 and 2k5.
Team 1 Team 2
99 rating in speed 70 rating in speed
with everything else 70 with everything else 99

IN 2K5 team 2 won 38-3 IN MADDEN 11 team 1 won 28-10

I hope they adjust the position specific ratings to mean much more in 12

This adds to my advocacy of an option to hide ratings so until this is addressed, it will be more difficult to accurately pin point the 99 speed players.

The ratings should mean something other than made up ficticious numbers or everything else that is related to them (all the "new additions") will be absolutely meaningless.

I was just trying to figure out if you misunderstood something that was stated as Madden "hate" or if you were just trolling.

About the OP's test, seems very reasonable to me, for someone to actually look into something before just blindly making some claim. It's not like the OP stated "NFL2k5 is way better than Madden because.....", instead the OP just posted results showing how Speed outweighs other ratings, more heavily in Madden 11.

Even if you omit the NFL2k5 results and only give credence to the results of the Madden 11 games, the issue is still valid. The Madden 11 test alone would be a good one for someone at EA, working on tuning Madden 12 to run. So they can tweak ratings and achieve more balance, if it is needed.
