Have any of you played 2k11?

Anyone in here played 2k11? Jesus Christo, the game is amazing. I mean every little detail, every nuance, and the level of control is unprecedented. There is trade AI and franchise logic, everything we want in our franchise, which gets me to my point. I just wonder what football game would look like from these guys. This isnt a bash Madden thread but its like wow, if these guys had the chance...

I've never played a game of NBA2K but am a huge fan of 2Ksports

the very first franchise I ever did was because of College Hoops (it's in the sig too, "A Coach's Legacy")

Ihave high hopes for nba2k11 since i heard it has coach mode as well so hoping it'd be in the CollegeHoops-vein

my copy is coming today and am excited about it

...I am wary of all the hype i been seeing lately.. hell, it's been flat out said that NBA2K11 may perhaps be the greatest sports game ever made

that's insanely high praise so we'll see

While I am thoroughly enjoying Madden and I think it's a fantastic football game, I'm with you on this one. I would LOVE to see a next-gen 2k football game...

This will be moved to the football forum but I get where your coming from. I enjoy a range of sports games; soccer, basketball, mma, tennis and more, so for me Madden has to compete with those and it quite simply doesn't come close right now. I always think when I read someone praising Madden they obviously don't play game x or y. For Madden to compete with a game like 2k it needs to get deeper and much smarter AI.

From what ive been reading, NBA2K is plain SIC. The accolades this game is getting from gamers is off the charts. Maybe one day Madden will draw the same applause.

The American Needle case means little, if anything, for Madden. The only thing the Supreme Court did was state that the NFL doesn't have blanket immunity from anti-trust legislation and then kicked it back down to the lower courts for another trial. They didn't stregthen or reinterpret anti-trust law, they didn't rule that the NFL did anything illegal... there just isn't anything here to make a bit of difference for Madden fans. Also, this whole American Needle thing dates back to the year 2000, when the NFL went exclusive with Reebok... and the lawsuit was filed in 2004... it still isn't settled yet... so yea... nothing to see here.
