NBA 09 did that but that has been done in the past already.

I think after awhile people just skip that part of the game and move on so the devs dont waste time on it

I think they should try a layered approach where the intos are only done for maybe the eastern conf finals and the finals that would keep them from getting skipped. I have to admit I am one of those who rarely skipped the intros when they had them...LOL i would use that time to mentaly go over the matchups I wanted to exploit and get ready to go to work...

CH2k8 is the definition of a classic. I wish 2k would release an "open source" generic hoop game for download with all the court and jersey editing tools we need to recreate college basketball. Not to hijack my own thread though....

lol how does a man hijack his own thread?

The matchups were discussed though as you went through the warmups but I agree some sort of intro's would be nice, im sure they could get real creative with it. The last game prior to NBA 09 was NBA Live 2008

That said, to stay on topic I like 2k in round 3 of the battleground lol

That's a great idea Czar. I was thinking they could also do the same thing they already have somewhat implimented with rituals. If they had it also added into this section where rituals wasn't so much shown but just the intros instead and have it dynamic game to game, I think this would be great. Not every game you see on NBA TV or even TNT has the intros shown. You are fortunate if you see this, sometimes you come into the game right when the lights die out and rituals are done or right at the Tip-Off. 2k can definately be dynamic in this area. Not to mention the commentary would be a good feature shown. Having them relay the game is one thing but seeing them relay the game is another. This would be a great addition to overall presentation even before the game starts. They had this in 2k9 during but they should take it a bit further even adding them during the halftime show.

Good thinking Czar. You thinking, has me thinking.

I stil say that NBA Live 06 had the best pre game intro ever.

Unfortunately, that was the best part of the game.

Fortunately and as recently as last month CH 2k8 allowed you to download rosters from this season. It got me through my college bball needs this year. I played EAs offering but it just isnt as good.

i mean i like how he is comparing the two games he is pretty unbiased, im not really a 2k10 player i actually hate the 2k series the controls are horrible the only thing i feel that it has over live is some points of presentation and the animations... 2k in my opinion is a slip n slide dunk fest to be honest... plus the controls are not very user friendly Lives controls are so much more intuitive. i mean i have played 2k like ill do a crossover and since the crossover button is on the same side as an alley oop button i accidently throw and oop when i just want a regular pass. people will say you can change the controls, but the best controls should always be the default controls.. lol im getting ahead of myself he isnt even on gameplay yet... but things like i dont believe that 2k has the finals trophy painted in the middle of the floor for the finals, but live does... correct me if im wrong, that has a lot to do with presentation also
