need help deciding 2k or live (ONLINE only)

need help deciding wich one to get this year, keep in mind i only play online with friends who are all sim players, so the way i see it live 10 might be less sim like 2k10, but if i only play online is it easy to overlook the gameplay differance live 10 has compared to 2k?

i only play online as ive stated and im sure you all know 5v5 online with 2k works 12.3% of the time, and ive heard good things about live online.

so what im really asking, do you think i could look passed the gameplay and overall greatness 2k is, for working servers so im able to play online with friends.



so im curious what you guys have for opinion, last year 2k9 was frustrating enough for me and i learned my lession this year to not just go out and hand my money to 2k blindly, and i cant beleive im even considering live10 but i need a bball game to play online with my friends asap =/!

Good question, looking forward to responses. Also, is Live DNA or the Dynamic season a better tool for players?

If you have friends that play sim there neither game is going to dissapoint you. The both play really good games. I prefer 2k10 post patch than Live but, IMO you should ask your friends what game the like better.

If you're playing friends than they should have some say in it as well. You can try out both games if you buy the preowned at Gamestop. If you don't like one than get the other and tell your friends the same thing.

well 2k10s online does not work at all, so what im wondering is what do people think of lives gameplay

anything that has to do with 5v5 does not consistantly work, even after trying all the circus tricks posted by ron on their site.

on average it can take me and a few friends anywhere from 30min to a hour+ just to get into a working stable team up that works from start to finish.

If you only play online, then Live 10 is for you. Great game online, and great game as a multiplayer. Not a very good game against the computer tho, and has a terrible dynasty mode. 2k is terrible for online, and terrible connection. 2k has an amazing association tho and a really fun My Player mode (Must be patient tho). The gameplay aspect is even between these games IMO.
