It's the best because its the most competitive. These other events are one racer at a time, best time wins. This one is everyone racing the same course at the same time so no excuses. No guesswork here, you hit that line first, no looking at the clock... You won.
Agreed. I love to watch it.

I was pissed that I missed the live coverage of that because a guy I grew up with was on the team. He didn't get past his first heat, but I couldn't nail down the time it was actually on because of the delay.

Don't even get me started. I'm still angry over this.

Thoughts on the Female Figure Skating finals last night? My wife thinks Yuna was robbed. But honestly, I can't tell the difference between a good and great performance in figure skating, so I wanted to see what everyone else thought.

There's just something that, to me, is completely wrong with that and I don't think that should be legal.
The part of it that seems to be complete crap is South Korea not letting him compete when he clearly is better than anyone they, or any other country have. I do usually find this kinda thing incredibly lame, but South Korea deserved to have it stuck to them. He'd likely be defying age, but I hope he can stick it to them in 4 years when they're hosting.

You know, I don't disagree with this statement at all. As much as I disagree with what Ahn did (I still don't think it should be allowed, you do have a point. S. Korea couldn't find room for him and now he's dominating them for a different country... that is kind of poetic justice.
