Also, something interesting, the Houston Dash's new kit pays homage to the Astros and Tequila Sunrise




I'm a well-documented ***** of tequila sunrise, but I really like it for some reason. It's a modern take on it, and it just ends up looking better.

I just think it's awesome that the women's soccer team of a city is supporting the history of the same city's baseball team

That's just a Nike template kit, unfortunately. It's the new Nike DQT template, which is modeled after the United States 2015 away jersey. It just happens to look like the Tequila Sunrise pattern.

That may be true Bruins but the color choices can't be coincidental. This is definitely an homage to the Tequila Sunrise Astros unis. As a lover of that uniform set I support anything that harkens back to it.

The team's colors have been orange and white since they were founded in 2013. The NWSL isn't big enough to get their own jersey designs by Nike, they just get recolorations of the current templates. Trust me, it's not a purposeful homage to the Tequila Sunrise. They're simply wearing a Nike template kit in their team colors.
